The Rector Cares Foundation has officially handed over the water scheme to the people of Ngugo Ochicha in Ikeduru LGA, during a ceremony held in the Community in Ngugo.
The Water Scheme consists of 200metres cube ground tank, 200metres cube overhead tank, solar panels, generator, serving the entire autonomous Community and beyond.
The project was attracted to the community by ; High Chief Tony Jude Iwuamadi. who coincidentally hails from Ngugo.
The Commissioning and the Official Handover Ceremony was done by the IMC Chairman Ikeduru who thanked the foundation for establishing the Water Scheme in his locality noting that it is a high breed project which is very important to the State Government and the good people of Ochicha.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of the foundation., in his response during the handover appreciated the IMC Chairman and the government for implementing the project as designed.
He emphasized on the importance of the sustainability of the Water Scheme assuring the Ngugo Ochicha Community that they will ensure the Water Scheme is sustained in synergy with the community’s support.
The ceremony also had in attendance Hon. Teddy Oguwike ,the President General of the community; Ndi Eze, SA to the Governor on Voter Education, Hon. Stanley Nwaloka IMC members and other government functionaries, some management staff of the foundation. amongst other dignitaries.
